Buyers spend about $84 million at Aqualuna launch weekend

In a matter of hours, eager buyers have snapped up over half the apartments available at the new Milsons Point development, Aqualuna.

Buyers exchanged contracts worth around $84 million, with 35 out of the 63 apartments sold over two days at the launch.

Colliers International Director of Residential Project Marketing, Selda MacDonald said the strong buyer interest reflects the high buyer demand for Milsons Point luxury property.

New Koichi Takada Brisbane tower features facade-length waterfall

Brisbane-based Aria Property Group has unveiled the winning design of their proposed residential tower project in South Brisbane. Koichi Takada’s waterfall inspired design was the winner of the competition that saw four architectural firms (Koichi Takada, Elenberg Fraser, Rothelowman and Woods Marsh) vying for the opportunity to design the tower project.

Aria has submitted a new development application for the striking 33-storey residential tower located at 77 Hope Street, South Brisbane.

Aqualuna bridges a boutique gap

Tourist favourite. Harbourside gem. Gateway to the north shore. Milsons Point is many things, but brand-spanking new apartment buildings are not usually on its CV.

That’s what makes Aqualuna such a rarity. The eight-storey luxury building from developer Zone Q with architecture and interiors by Koichi Takada is one of only a handful of multi-residential buildings to be built in the suburb over the past few years.

Sydney’s harbour front will soon have a new silhouette on the horizon, as the tightly-held suburb of Milsons Point continues to grow. The eight-storey Aqualuna, scheduled for completion next December, is Zone Q Investments’ latest development.
It will consist of 63 boutique apartments, with a total project value expected to reach $155 million.

Aria Plans To Add More Rainforest To The Concrete Jungle

Brisbane City Council have received plans from Aria Property Group that propose a mixed-use residential development at 77 Hope Street, South Brisbane with a unique rainforest-like exterior.

Penthouse sale in Sydney’s Waterloo sets record unit price

The sale of a three-bedroom penthouse for nearly $3.6 million has broken records in Sydney’s inner-city Waterloo and Zetland, as dwelling values continue to soar across the city.

The top-floor apartment at Sydney-based developer Crown Group’s Infinity project sold for $3,598,650 this month, the highest priced apartment in the neighbourhood.

The purchase was the final sale for the $575m, 401-apartment development in the Green Square precinct, which raked in $380m in sales in one day when it launched in 2015.

Penthouse yet to be built in Green Square sets $3.6 million neighbourhood record

A yet-to-be-built three-bedroom penthouse in what was once an undesirable industrial area has set a neighbourhood record after it sold for $3,598,650.
It topped the previous record in both Zetland and Waterloo by more than $1.4 million that was set last year by a penthouse at 8 Sam Sing Street, Waterloo that sold for $2.13 million.
The latest record-holder, which was the only unsold apartment left in the development, is one of four that will sit atop the 20-storey building designed by Koichi Takada Architects.
