Marketing & Communications Manager

We now have an opportunity for a Marketing Manager who has the right mix of strong graphic design skills, good writing skills and a solid understanding of architecture.

In this role, you will:

  • collaborate with management on our marketing plan and brand strategy
  • create and publish content for our website, social media accounts and newsletters, and submit content to architectural blogs and websites
  • track and analyse social media, newsletter and web traffic stats, and grow traffic
  • create mediakits for all projects and submit them to print and digital media
  • research, commission and liaise with writers, photographers, videographers, printers etc
  • liaise with external PR agencies
  • prepare and monitor awards submissions by working with project leaders and management to gather all text, images and details
  • assist the projects teams with the creation of materials such as EOIs, competitions, DA submissions, and presentations
  • update our Company Profile
  • maintain a filing system for each project, ensuring all working files are constantly updated with new information, images, bios, etc

 

Ideally, you will have the following experience, skills and attributes:

  • 2-3 years’ marketing experience in an architecture firm
  • a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design or related field
  • fluency in Adobe CC (InDesign and Photoshop) and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • social media savvy
  • experience with SEO, Google Analytics, WordPress
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • driven to deliver outstanding work
  • exceptional time management and planning skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise deadlines
  • incredible attention to detail, adaptable, creative thinker, team player

Experienced Graduate Architect

 

We now have an opportunity for an experienced Graduate Architect to join our team. As part of a project team, you will work on a unique large-scale mixed-use project that is currently under construction. In this role, you will work with the team leader of the project and be responsible for:

  • Assisting the Project Architect and/or Associate/Senior Associate to deliver Concept/Schematic Documentation & Design Documentation coordiantion of project documentation
  • Assist in the development of design layouts abnd space planning in multi-residentail developments
  • Adherance to project programme, milestones and deliverables
  • collaborating and assisting with delivery of project docuemtnation
  • compliance with ADG coordinating the project team
  • assisting with the administration of the project
  • reviewing and marking up AutoCAD & Revit drawings
  • liaising with external consultants
  • reviewing consultants’ drawings / shop drawings and report back to your project team

The ideal candidate for the role will have the following experience, skills and attributes:

  • 2 – 3 years postgraduate experience in coordinating complex, large-scale multi-residential and mixed-use projects from DD to documentation stage
  • Proven experience in coordinating a project team and liaising with consultants and clients
  • A high sense of responsibility with an excellent eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organised thought process
  • A strong work ethic and “can do” attitude

Project Architect

As Project Architect, you will have the support of highly experienced directors and associates, ensuring your continuous growth and enabling your career progression within our team. You will work on various high-end, large-scale multi-residential projects from design concept through to delivery. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading projects from concept design to construction
  • Tracking the progress of each project and reporting to the directors
  • Building and maintaining client relationships
  • Liaising with clients, council, consultants
  • Producing AutoCAD and Revit drawings, checking and marking up shop drawings, reviewing your team’s drawings
  • Leading a small team, mentoring juniors

The ideal candidate for the role will be an all-rounder with the following experience, skills and attributes:

  • 5 years postgraduate experience in coordinating complex multi-residential or mixed-use projects in a similar role
  • NSW Registration
  • Proven experience in coordinating a small internal team and liaising with clients, council, consultants
  • Proficient in documenting in AutoCAD and Revit
  • A high sense of responsibility with an excellent eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Mature communication skills
  • A strong work ethic and “can do” attitude
  • An eagerness to learn and a commitment to deliver outstanding work
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Thorough knowledge of BCA and Australian standards
  • A degree in architecture from a recognised university

Project Director

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Project Director with a strong design & technical focus to join our growing team. The role requires a leader who will be responsible for all significant project activities of complex large scale multi-residential and mixed-use projects. The Project Director needs to possess the skills to communicate work details in every step of construction and detailed documentation phases, and will assist with site studies and work closely with contractors on site, ensuring that works are carried out to specific standards and, above all, ensuring that the building is sustainable, functional and aesthetically pleasing.

The role will be varied and will involve the following:

  • Leading complex projects with ultimate responsibility for program and budget management, effective time and resources management and promoting best practice and knowledge within the studio
  • Preparing and presenting feasibility reports and design proposals to the client
  • Coordinating contract documents, design, and consultant teams, and follow projects through to completion (contract administration)
  • Managing the timely production of detailed workings, drawings and specifications
  • Reviewing architectural drawings and shop drawings in AutoCAD/REVIT/Bluebeam CAD.
  • Preparing Development Applications, Tender Submissions, Construction Drawings and Presentations
  • Negotiating with contractors, consultants and other professionals throughout all stages of the project
  • Resolving complex technical and design issues
  • Regular site visits to check on progress, ensuring that the project is running on time and to budget

The ideal candidate has:

  • A Master of Architecture degree (or equivalent) and is a registered architect
  • 15 – 25 years leadership experience in a local architectural practice
  • Extensive background working with a range of complex large-scale multi-residential and mixed-use projects
  • Competence in leading complex projects at Project Director level experience, from initial design stage to construction with strong design & technical capabilities and a keen eye for detail and innovation
  • Outstanding organisational, time management, communication skills
  • Excellent people management skills

Marketing Assistant/Graphic Designer

We have a unique opportunity for a Marketing Assitant/Graphic Designer to join our team in this newly created role.

The Marketing Assitant/Graphic Designer will be working closely with the architectural design team, 3D visualisers, principal and marketing team, and will:

  • create new concepts or take existing conceptual work, and roll it out across multiple channels such as brochures, presentations, various marketing collateral, tender documents, awards submissions, web, social media, book publications, project-based videos etc
  • retouch and format images
  • produce print-ready artwork
  • liaise with printers
  • assist in updating the website and social media accounts

You have the following experience, skills and attributes:

  • a minimum of 1 years professional experience in editorial design (print and digital) in a creative environment
  • high proficiency in Adobe CS6 (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)
  • a sound understanding of the pre-press and print production process
  • a good knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • an excellent eye for detail and a structured approach to projects
  • a strong interest in typography
  • the ability to work on multiple projects and juggle conflicting deadlines, prioritise duties and work well under pressure

We have an opportunity for a highly organised and self-motivated Architectural Personal Assistant to join our team. The role is primarily providing support to Koichi Takada, and is also supporting the team and assisting with general office administration. The right candidate will be able to develop their professional skills and have opportunities for long term career progression.

We are looking for a recent graduate who is eager to gain allround office experience and is driven to make a significant contribution to the success of the practice.

In this role, you will be:

  • Assisting Koichi Takada with his day-to-day activities
  • Organising meetings and travel, and liaising with clients, journalists, suppliers
  • Working on marketing and awards submissions, and assisting the team with preparing presentation documents
  • Assisting the Office Support with greeting visitors and ensuring a positive and professional first impression of the office
  • Assisting with other office administration tasks
  • Providing general support to the team
