HR Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team and take control of the HR function and general office management.

This role will provide the right candidate the opportunity to be an integral part of the team.  The successful applicant will be responsible for building strong relationships within the team while understanding the needs and requirements of the business as it grows.

The role will be varied and will involve the following:

  • Recruitment
  • Administration of contracts and visas
  • Performance management & remuneration
  • Continuous development and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Leave tracking
  • Staff consultation
  • Other various office management duties

The successful applicant will have:

  • 4+ years experience in a similar role
  • Experience in the Design/Architecture industry
  • HR degree/qualification
  • The ability to be proactive and show initiative
  • The ability to be assertive yet professional
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem solving abilities
  • Solid MS Office skills (Word, Excel)

Graduate Architect

As Graduate Architect, you will work alongside a Project Architect, contributing to the design and assisting with DA, tender and construction documentation.

You have:

  • A minimum of 12 months post-graduate experience in an architecture firm, working on multi-residential or mixed-use projects in AutoCAD or Revit
  • A strong work ethic and a “can do” attitude
  • An eagerness to learn and a commitment to deliver outstanding work
  • Excellent 2D and 3D CAD skills: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Rhino
  • Advanced graphic design skills: Photoshop, InDesign
  • Good communication skills
  • A BA Hons or Master degree in Architecture from a recognised university

Project Architect

As Project Architect, you will have the support of highly experienced directors and associates, ensuring your continuous growth and enabling your career progression within our team. You will work on various high-end, large-scale multi-residential projects from design concept through to delivery. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading projects from concept design to construction
  • Tracking the progress of each project and reporting to the directors
  • Building and maintaining client relationships
  • Liaising with clients, council, consultants
  • Producing AutoCAD and Revit drawings, checking and marking up shop drawings, reviewing your team’s drawings
  • Leading a small team, mentoring juniors

The ideal candidate for the role will be an all-rounder with the following experience, skills and attributes:

  • 5 years postgraduate experience in coordinating complex multi-residential or mixed-use projects in a similar role
  • NSW Registration
  • Proven experience in coordinating a small internal team and liaising with clients, council, consultants
  • Proficient in documenting in AutoCAD and Revit
  • A high sense of responsibility with an excellent eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Mature communication skills
  • A strong work ethic and “can do” attitude
  • An eagerness to learn and a commitment to deliver outstanding work
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Thorough knowledge of BCA and Australian standards
  • A degree in architecture from a recognised university

Project Director

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Project Director with a strong design & technical focus to join our growing team. The role requires a leader who will be responsible for all significant project activities of complex large scale multi-residential and mixed-use projects. The Project Director needs to possess the skills to communicate work details in every step of construction and detailed documentation phases, and will assist with site studies and work closely with contractors on site, ensuring that works are carried out to specific standards and, above all, ensuring that the building is sustainable, functional and aesthetically pleasing.

The role will be varied and will involve the following:

  • Leading complex projects with ultimate responsibility for program and budget management, effective time and resources management and promoting best practice and knowledge within the studio
  • Preparing and presenting feasibility reports and design proposals to the client
  • Coordinating contract documents, design, and consultant teams, and follow projects through to completion (contract administration)
  • Managing the timely production of detailed workings, drawings and specifications
  • Reviewing architectural drawings and shop drawings in AutoCAD/REVIT/Bluebeam CAD.
  • Preparing Development Applications, Tender Submissions, Construction Drawings and Presentations
  • Negotiating with contractors, consultants and other professionals throughout all stages of the project
  • Resolving complex technical and design issues
  • Regular site visits to check on progress, ensuring that the project is running on time and to budget

The ideal candidate has:

  • A Master of Architecture degree (or equivalent) and is a registered architect
  • 15 – 25 years leadership experience in a local architectural practice
  • Extensive background working with a range of complex large-scale multi-residential and mixed-use projects
  • Competence in leading complex projects at Project Director level experience, from initial design stage to construction with strong design & technical capabilities and a keen eye for detail and innovation
  • Outstanding organisational, time management, communication skills
  • Excellent people management skills

Interior Designer/Architect

We have an opening for an Interior Designer/Architect to join our team and work on various large-scale high-end residential, private residential, commercial and cultural projects.

Ideally, you will have the following experience, skills and attributes:

  • 2+ years postgraduate experience
  • Experience in different building types and complex projects
  • Solid skills in documenting, space planning, preparing FF&E schedules, and liaising with consultants, clients and suppliers
  • Some experience in presenting to clients and coordinating consultants
  • Strong 2D and 3D skills: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and advanced skills in Adobe CC
  • An excellent eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A strong work ethic and “can do” attitude and a commitment to deliver outstanding work
