Senior Architect

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect with a strong design & technical focus to join our growing team. The role requires a leader who will be responsible for all significant project activities of complex large scale multi-residential and mixed-use projects. The Senior Architect needs to possess the skills to communicate work details in every step of construction and detailed documentation phases, and will assist with site studies and work closely with contractors on site, ensuring that works are carried out to specific standards and, above all, ensuring that the building is sustainable, functional and aesthetically pleasing.

The role will be varied and will involve the following:

  • Leading complex projects with ultimate responsibility for program and budget management, effective time and resources management and promoting best practice and knowledge within the studio
  • Preparing and presenting feasibility reports and design proposals to the client
  • Coordinating contract documents, design, and consultant teams, and follow projects through to completion (contract administration)
  • Managing the timely production of detailed workings, drawings and specifications
  • Reviewing architectural drawings and shop drawings in AutoCAD/REVIT/Bluebeam CAD.
  • Preparing Development Applications, Tender Submissions, Construction Drawings and Presentations
  • Negotiating with contractors, consultants and other professionals throughout all stages of the project
  • Resolving complex technical and design issues
  • Regular site visits to check on progress, ensuring that the project is running on time and to budget

The ideal candidate has:

  • A Master of Architecture degree (or equivalent) and is a registered architect
  • 15 – 25 years leadership experience in a local architectural practice
  • Extensive background working with a range of complex large-scale multi-residential and mixed-use projects
  • Competence in leading complex projects at Senior Architect level experience, from initial design stage to construction with strong design & technical capabilities and a keen eye for detail and innovation
  • Outstanding organisational, time management, communication skills
  • Excellent people management skills

Interior Designer

About the Role

We are in search for a creative Senior Interior Designer to manage interiors projects, from concept design, detailed design and contract administration and provide guidance and support to the project teams. You will be responsible for maintaining a relationship with clients, project executives and all other relevant stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

To be successful you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Architecture or Interior Architecture/Design.
  • You will have demonstrated 10 + years’ experience in relevant industry
  • Experience working on multi-res and residential projects
  • Have a sound knowledge of construction, codes, and compliance.
  • You will demonstrate strong people and project management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Revit
  • Experience collaborating with architects and other design professionals.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Indesign, Microsoft office suite.

Design Architect

As Design Architect, you will work on various small and large-scale projects from concept design to documentation stage, with a strong eye for design and detail.

You have:

  • A minimum of 3 – 5 years postgraduate experience in an architecture firm
  • A degree in architecture from a recognised university
  • A strong work ethic and “can do” attitude
  • An eagerness to learn and a commitment to deliver outstanding work
  • Superb design skills
  • Excellent 2D and 3D skills: AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp
  • Very good graphic design skills: Photoshop, Indesign
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure

Graduate Architect

As Graduate Architect, you will work alongside a Project Architect, contributing to the design and assisting with DA, tender and construction documentation.

You have:

  • A minimum of 12 months post-graduate experience in an architecture firm, working on multi-residential or mixed-use projects in AutoCAD or Revit
  • A strong work ethic and a “can do” attitude
  • An eagerness to learn and a commitment to deliver outstanding work
  • Excellent 2D and 3D CAD skills: Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, AutoCAD
  • Advanced graphic design skills: Photoshop, InDesign
  • Good communication skills
  • A BA Hons or Master degree in Architecture from a recognised university

Experienced Graduate Architect

We have an opportunity for ambitious and highly talented Experienced Graduate of Architecture to join our team. You will work alongside a project architect, providing input into the design aspect as well as assisting with DA, tender and construction documentation.

You will work on various high-end, large-scale multi-residential projects from during the early design concept stages. To be successful you will have a strong knowledge of Revit. In this role, you will work with the team leader of the project and be responsible for:

  • Assisting the Project Architect and/or Associate/Senior Associate to deliver Concept/Schematic Documentation & Design Documentation coordination of project documentation
  • Assist in the development of design layouts and space planning in multi-residential developments
  • Adherence to project programme, milestones and deliverables
  • Collaborating and assisting with the delivery of project documentation
  • Compliance with ADG coordinating the project team
  • Assisting with the administration of the project
  • Reviewing and marking up Revit drawings
  • Liaising with external consultants
  • Reviewing consultants’ drawings / shop drawings and report back to your project team

The ideal candidate for the role will have the following experience, skills and attributes:

  • 2 – 3 years postgraduate experience in coordinating complex, large-scale multi-residential and mixed-use projects from DD to documentation stage
  • Proven experience in coordinating a project team and liaising with consultants and clients
  • A high sense of responsibility with an excellent eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organised thought process

Project Architect

As Project Architect, you will have the support of highly experienced directors and associates, ensuring your continuous growth and enabling your career progression within our team. You will work on various high-end, large-scale multi-residential projects from design concept through to delivery. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading projects from concept design to construction
  • Tracking the progress of each project and reporting to the directors
  • Building and maintaining client relationships
  • Liaising with clients, council, consultants
  • Producing AutoCAD and Revit drawings, checking and marking up shop drawings, reviewing your team’s drawings
  • Leading a small team, mentoring juniors

The ideal candidate for the role will be an all-rounder with the following experience, skills and attributes:

  • 5 years postgraduate experience in coordinating complex multi-residential or mixed-use projects in a similar role
  • NSW Registration
  • Proven experience in coordinating a small internal team and liaising with clients, council, consultants
  • Proficient in documenting in AutoCAD and Revit
  • A high sense of responsibility with an excellent eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Mature communication skills
  • A strong work ethic and “can do” attitude
  • An eagerness to learn and a commitment to deliver outstanding work
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Thorough knowledge of BCA and Australian standards
  • A degree in architecture from a recognised university

REVIT Architect / Technician

We have an opportunity for a REVIT Architect / Technician to join our team immediately.

You will work alongside a project architect, providing input to the design aspect as well as producing the DA, DD and construction documentation of complex, large-scale multi-residential and mixed-use projects.

The ideal candidate for this role must have the following experience, skills and attributes:

  • A minimum of 3 years postgraduate experience working in REVIT on complex, large-scale multi-residential and mixed-use projects from DA and DD to documentation stage
  • Strong 3D modelling and documentation skills with an outstanding eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent 2D and 3D skills: REVIT, AutoCAD, SketchUp
  • Good Photoshop skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Mature communication skills
  • Tertiary qualification in architecture
