From a multifunctional domestic space with tatami mats in which he grew up in Japan, to the mixed-use buildings designed and constructed in Australia and the United States. The professional path of Koichi Takada, architect, evolves from the roots in Japanese culture, to studies in London and New York and travels in Europe, then finding new energy in Sydney, chosen as his place of life and work, where he founded his ‘boutique architecture firm’ in 2008.
